The Noah Initiative

Why this Initiative?

Love of the Passion of our Lord and the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar moves us to greater fraternity. It’s in this fraternal love that real good can be done: weak men, made stronger by fraternity, praying and making sacrifices for the world. Will you join in with this initiative?

The name?

The Noah Initiative is recognizing the covenant God made with His people through Noah. He gave a promise in Gen 9:13, that He would set a bow in the clouds as a reminder to Him and to us of His covenant with us – with every living creature. Let’s recover this sign. But let’s do it without anger, without fear, without discouragement. And let’s do it with prayer and sacrifice.

What is it?

It is very easy to decry the general decline in society and to lose hope as we see our children indoctrinated against the peace and love that comes from Christ alone. The Noah Initiative gathers men and women together for the sake of making reparation and praying for those stuck in the grips of sexual sin AND our Catholic brethren who struggle courageously with same sex attraction. This isn’t a singling out, but rather a great desire to alleviate the difficulties and anxieties that come with this daily struggle of our Christian brethren. We are much stronger together. And God never forgets His covenant. But it is good for us to keep on knocking and seeking the graces we need, daily.

God said: This is the sign of the covenant that I am making between me and you and every living creature with you for all ages to come:
I set my bow in the clouds to serve as a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
When I bring clouds over the earth, and the bow appears in the clouds,
I will remember my covenant between me and you and every living creature—every mortal being—so that the waters will never again become a flood to destroy every mortal being.
When the bow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature—every mortal being that is on earth.
God told Noah: This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and every mortal being that is on earth.

Genesis 9:12-17

Devotions

Fast on Wednesdays and pray the Rosary that day for all men and women who struggle with same sex attraction, for the conversion of those who live a homosexual lifestyle, and, in general, for an increase of a culture of chastity inside and outside the Church. Strive to make a holy confession at least every two weeks. [Fast: two collations and a normal meal, or greater fast, if you desire].

Pray the following devotions daily for the above intention:

Our Father
Jesus, meek and humble of Heart, make our hearts like unto Thine!
Mary, by thy Immaculate Conception, make our bodies pure and our souls holy. Hail Mary… (3x)
St. Joseph, guardian of purity, pray for us.
Our guardian angels, defend us.
All saints in Heaven who suffered these temptations, pray for us.
Glory Be…

Let me know when you commit to the Noah Initiative…
