Blessed is he that understandeth concerning the needy and the poor: the Lord will deliver him in the evil day. (From the Introit of the Mass for the Feast).

The Collect of the Mass:

Lord Jesus Christ, Who didst gift Thine holy servant Paul with great love that he might preach the mystery of Thy Cross, and hast been pleased that through him a new family should grow up in Thy Church, grant unto us at his prayers that upon earth we may so call Thy sufferings to mind as worthily to gain the fruit thereof in heaven,
Who livest and reignest with God the Father, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, one God, world without end.
Amen.

Please pray especially today for the guidance of Saint Paul of the Cross in my discernment. Also, pray for the fervor of the Passionist community that through a life devoted to Jesus Crucified and preaching Love Crucified, they may save their souls and the souls to whom they preach for the glorification of God.
