In preparation for the 100th anniversary of 13 October 1917 apparition of Our Lady to the children at Fatima, I will post a Novena starting tomorrow and going until October 12.

Santissima Trinità dei Pellegrini will be having Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament with the Most Holy Rosary for this Novena. This reminds me of a dream of Saint John Bosco:

He explains it: “The enemy ships are persecutions. The most serious trials for the Church are near at hand…Her enemies are represented by the ships that tried to sink the ship if they could. Only two means are left to save her amidst so much confusion: DEVOTION TO MARY MOST HOLY and FREQUENT COMMUNION, making use of every means and doing our best to practice them and having them practiced everywhere and by everybody.”

Make visits to the Blessed Sacrament during this Novena and commit yourself anew to the Most Holy Rosary, and if you are already accustomed to both then do the same with an increased devotion and with greater love.
