Let Mary be our guide especially in these days of reparation. It is from her womb that Jesus Christ came forth, the very Blood that beats in the Heart of Christ also passed through the Heart of Mary.

As Saint Bernardine of Siena preached in his sermon 9 on the Visitation:

…Among pure mortals who can be conceived of as better than she who was worthy to be the Mother of God, who for nine months had as a guest in her heart and in her womb God himself? What better treasure than the divine love itself, which was burning in the Heart of the Virgin as in a furnace?
