Summorum Pontificum: Day 1

Yesterday on the first day of the Summorum Pontificum pilgrimage, we celebrated in thanksgiving the 30th anniversary of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter. A votive Mass of the Holy Cross was offered with many priests, religious, and seminarians in choir. The church was packed full with the faithful. As MC, I don’t see much of what goes on in the nave of the church. But the church was full, with babies and children in full stow, and there was a peace in the church.

My point being, the clerics of the Church can give us an example and can teach the faithful that order is possible! It doesn’t have to be a circus. Yes, our lives are messy. But in offering all of this to Our Lord, most especially within the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, order can be brought to our lives.
