“God puts us in the world to know, to love, and to serve him, and so to come to paradise.” Fear of the Lord helps us shun evils, Piety enables us to make a right and holy approach to God so as to deepen and advance our relationship with him through worship and good works.

Come, O Blessed Spirit of Piety, possess my heart. Enkindle therein such a love for God, that I may find satisfaction only in His service, and for His sake lovingly submit to all legitimate authority. Amen.
