Pope wants all Catholics to pray the Rosary daily in October

It has been communicated today that the Pope desires for all Catholics to pray the Rosary daily in the Marian month of October. To join together in communion and in penance, as the People of God, asking the Holy Mother of God and Saint Michael to protect the Church from the devil, who is always watching to divide us from God and from each other.

In addition, he desires that we add the ancient prayer of Sub Tuum Praesidium, and that of Saint Michael the Archangel.

NOW IF EVERY CATHOLIC DID THIS!!!! JUST IMAGINE HOW POWERFUL THIS WOULD BE! We have no excuses to make if we can’t even do this!

Sub tuum praesidium confugimus Sancta Dei Genitrix. Nostras deprecationes ne despicias in necessitatibus, sed a periculis cunctis libera nos semper, Virgo Gloriosa et Benedicta.

Sancte Michael Archangele, defende nos in proelio; contra nequitiam et insidias diaboli esto praesidium. Imperet illi Deus, supplices deprecamur: tuque, Princeps militiae caelestis, Satanam aliosque spiritus malignos, qui ad perditionem animarum pervagantur in mundo, divina virtute, in infernum detrude. Amen.

We fly to thy protection, O holy Mother of God. Despise not our petitions in our necessities, but deliver us always from all dangers O glorious and blessed Virgin.

Saint Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Saint Michael before the three little pastors of Fatima.
